HTML Artifact Editor
Overview
Open a single-file HTML artifact, edit its visible text, and save it back out.
Open a single-file HTML document, change the words in it, and save it back out. Everything else in the file is left exactly as it was. Built for the person who has been handed a finished HTML document, often generated by an AI assistant, and needs to correct a headline or rewrite a paragraph without opening a code editor. Perfect for editing claude artifacts directly - Click any text and type. Layout, styling, and structure stay untouched. - Two modes. Edit text marks every editable region; Click around runs the document's own scripts so tabs, menus, and links behave normally. - Pasting brings in plain text, so nothing from your clipboard can corrupt the file. - Save over the original, or save as a new file. - Works entirely on your computer. Nothing is uploaded, and the extension asks for no permissions at all. Best suited to static documents: HTML with inline or embedded CSS. Documents that build themselves with JavaScript after loading are outside what this can edit.
