HR Toolkit for Nepal puts fifteen everyday HR calculations in your browser: take-home salary, income tax on the current Nepal slabs, a monthly payroll run, overtime, leave, attendance and Bikram Sambat dates. All of it works offline. Payroll and tax - Take-home salary: gross to net with the Social Security Fund (SSF) or Provident Fund (PF), Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) and TDS, plus the employer's real cost of employment - Income tax calculator on the current Nepal slabs, band by band - SSF vs PF compared on the same salary, side by side - Gratuity accrued at 8.33 percent of basic - A monthly payroll run for the whole team, with a bank transfer CSV - Payslips in the Nepali salary slip format, ready to print or save as PDF Time and leave - Overtime at 1.5x, checked against the four-hour daily and 24-hour weekly caps - An attendance sheet laid out on the Bikram Sambat month, with totals - Home and sick leave earned under the Labour Act 2074, with the accumulation caps Dates - A Nepali date converter both ways, Bikram Sambat to AD and AD to BS, with today's date in both - Any Nepali calendar month as a grid, with the working days counted Documents - An appointment letter carrying the clauses Section 11 makes compulsory - Job descriptions for common roles, with the statutory terms attached - A structured interview question set and a scorecard to print - Eight standard HR letters: experience, relieving, salary certificate, confirmation, warning, interview invitation, rejection and resignation acceptance Everything runs on your own computer This extension makes no network requests. There is no account, no sign-up and no usage limit, and nothing you type is uploaded anywhere. It asks for a single permission, storage, which is the browser's own local store, used to remember the payroll list and the attendance sheet between visits. You can export everything as JSON or erase all of it from Settings. It opens in a light theme and there is a dark one a click away, remembered in this browser. The numbers stay current Tax slabs, contribution rates and the Labour Act figures are generated from the same source files that run nepalhrm.com, so the extension and the website cannot disagree with each other. The Bikram Sambat calendar covers BS 2000 to 2090. Month lengths through BS 2083 are published record; later years are provisional, because they only become record once the Panchanga for that year is published, and the tools mark them where they appear. An estimator, not tax advice Real payroll depends on company policy, salary structure, tax category and the rules that apply to each individual. Check anything that matters against the current Finance Act and, where it counts, a professional. Made by NepalHRM, which builds HR and payroll software for Nepali companies.
