Quick Filter for Reddit

Unofficial. Adds a button to filter Reddit by content type, subreddit flair and region, and to hide types you don't want.

About this extension Hide the Reddit posts you don't want. Quick Filter for Reddit adds a small Filter button to Reddit where you can show or block posts by type (images, videos, text, links), by subreddit flair, and by region. FEATURES Content type - Choose All, Images, Videos, Media, Text or Links. - Click a type once to show only that type. Click it again to block it instead (shown in red). Click a third time to switch it off. - On feeds (Home, r/popular, subreddits), unwanted posts are hidden before they appear, including posts that load as you scroll, so nothing flashes on screen. - On search pages, the filter uses Reddit's own search options. Any search terms you typed are kept. - If nothing in a feed matches, a small "No matching content found" note appears. Subreddit flairs - In a subreddit, the flairs are detected automatically and listed as buttons. - Click a flair to show it, click again to hide it, click again to reset. Combine as many flairs as you like. - Your flair choices are remembered separately for each subreddit. Region - Pick a region (for example Everywhere, Germany or United States) for Home and r/popular. It is remembered and applied when you come back. Good to know - Your choices are saved between visits. - On a post page the filter is paused (shown greyed out) and picks up again when you return to the feed. - Follows Reddit's light and dark theme. - Works on www.reddit.com. The old Reddit design (old.reddit.com) is not supported. PRIVACY The extension collects no data and sends nothing to any server. Your settings and the detected flair lists are stored only in your browser. The only request it makes is to reddit.com itself, to get a subreddit's flair list.
