Record how you do something in your browser once, and get a finished how-to video, a step-by-step written guide and an interactive demo from it. howtovideos.ai turns a quick, unrehearsed screen recording into a polished tutorial. This extension is the fastest way to make one: open the page, press Record, do the task, press Stop. WHAT YOU GET • A narrated video: AI writes the script from your clicks and adds a natural voice. Change a word and only that line is re-voiced. • Zoom on every click: each step zooms to the button or field you used, so viewers never hunt for it. • A written guide: one step per click, with a screenshot, ready to share or export to PDF, Word or Markdown. • Interactive demos: a live copy of each page you clicked through (optional), so viewers can click along. • Your brand: your logo, colors and fonts on every video and guide. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the howtovideos.ai icon and press "Connect to howtovideos.ai". Sign in or sign up free on the page that opens, and press Connect. 2. Open the page you want to show, click the icon and press "Record this tab" (or press Alt+Shift+R). 3. Do the task as you normally would. Narrate with your microphone if you like, or let AI write the narration. 4. Press Stop. The recording uploads and the editor opens with your steps already made. PRIVACY, BUILT IN • Nothing is recorded until you press Record, and only the tab you chose. • Password fields are never captured, in the video log or in page copies. • The click log records the label of what you clicked, never what you type. • In page copies, everything typed into fields is masked by default (you can turn this off in Options to show sample data in a demo). Fields a site marks as private are always masked. • Page addresses are kept without their query strings. • Recordings go only to your own howtovideos.ai account.
