HoverZoom — Image magnifier

HoverZoom makes image-heavy browsing easier. Move your pointer over an image to see a larger preview, without opening every photo individually. Take a closer look at product catalog albums, online stores, shopping galleries and shared photos. Inspect details while staying on the page you are browsing. CHOOSE WHERE IT WORKS HoverZoom starts OFF for every website. Open the extension, allow access to the domain, and switch ON. The setting applies to that domain and its subdomains, while other websites stay off. Switch OFF to stop image previews and revoke persistent access to that domain. ADJUST YOUR VIEW • Three image sizes: small, medium and large. • Four hover delays: instant, short, medium and long. • Separate preferences for each domain. • Medium size and a short delay by default. • Image proportions are preserved and previews fit the available screen space. • A clean white border and soft shadow help the preview stand out. • Move the pointer away or press Esc to dismiss the enlarged image. USEFUL BEYOND SHOPPING HoverZoom can also help you browse images in forums and web communities. For platforms such as Discord, use the browser version in Chrome. Support depends on how the page displays its images; some layouts may not be compatible. HoverZoom does not run inside standalone desktop applications. IN YOUR LANGUAGE The interface automatically follows Chrome's interface language. Ten languages are included: English, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, French, Bengali, Portuguese, Indonesian and Urdu. Portuguese and Chinese include regional or writing-system variants. If the browser reports an unsupported language, HoverZoom uses English. Urdu is available when Chrome reports Urdu as its interface language. SIMPLE, LOCAL PREFERENCES Your per-domain settings are stored locally in Chrome. HoverZoom has no advertising, analytics or remotely downloaded code. Images are loaded from the sources provided by the webpage. COMPATIBILITY Works with supported images on regular HTTP and HTTPS webpages. Image quality depends on the source available on the website. Chrome internal pages, the Chrome Web Store, canvas-based images and images inside embedded frames are not supported. Requires Chrome 127 or later.
