HoverRoute - Image Download Organizer
Overview
Download hovered images with one click and organize them using flexible rules.
HoverRoute is an image-focused download organizer for Chrome. Hover an image and click the compact download button. HoverRoute detects the image source the page is actually using, resolves supported original-image URLs, restores recognized image extensions when a URL omits them, and saves the image through Chrome's Downloads API. Organize downloaded images with ordered, first-match-wins rules: - Match the page hostname, page URL, image hostname, image URL, or original filename. - Use contains, glob, or case-insensitive regular-expression matchers. - Build dated and site-based folders with flexible filename patterns. - Preview the winning rule and generated path before saving changes. - Keep every generated path below Chrome's Downloads folder. - Use the interface and built-in help in English or Taiwan Traditional Chinese, based on the browser language. HoverRoute only handles images selected through its own hover button. It does not batch-download images, intercept other browser downloads, collect browsing data, use analytics, sync to the cloud, or load remote executable code. What's new in 1.1.0: - Restores the correct image extension when a selected image URL omits it, including Google image-search thumbnails and similar signed or generated image URLs. - Adds English and Taiwan Traditional Chinese interfaces that follow the browser language automatically. - Localizes the complete options help, validation messages, and hover-button status.
