Hover Color shows you what a hex or RGB code actually looks like, the moment you hover it. No clicking. No eyedropper. No screen recording. How it works • Hover any #hex, rgb(), or rgba() value on a page • A preview card appears with a color swatch, hex, and RGB • Move your pointer away and it disappears • Turn it off, or switch Light / Dark, from the toolbar Where it helps Color codes show up in email, Slack (browser version), Figma comments, docs, and tickets. Hover Color reads the text under your cursor, locally, so you can see the color without leaving the page. What it does not do: • It does not record your screen • It does not upload the page • It does not track you or show ads • It only looks at the text under your cursor to find a color code Hover Color is free.
