Seems like you need to truly "understand the frustration" of the people who've been using this app. Not everyone uses the internet for shopping 100% of the time ("we don’t recommend completely disabling it across all sites, as it’s the primary way to access deals and vouchers" - I don't always want to see or view vouchers unrelated to the page I'm on) - so a persistent widget just isn't wanted or needed (as evidenced by the reviews below). For that, I'm out....
