Overview
Shortcuts for your browser: chain 75+ actions and run them by hotkey, address bar, right-click, schedule, or URL match.
Hotkey Chain is a browser automation extension for Chrome and Edge that lets anyone who repeats the same tasks chain 75+ actions into one shortcut and run it in a click. Like Shortcuts, but inside your browser. Main features: • Build chains in a visual editor: grouped action pickers, per-step delay in ms, and drag-and-drop ordering. • Five ways to trigger: a keyboard hotkey (Ctrl+Shift+H for the default chain, Ctrl+Shift+1/2/3 for chains 1–3), the address bar ("hc" + space + name), the right-click menu, a schedule (every N minutes), or auto-run on a matching URL. • 75+ actions across tabs, windows, media and content: close duplicate tabs, group tabs by domain, mute or discard tabs, control playback speed, read selection aloud, toggle dark mode, translate, screenshot, save as MHTML, copy as Markdown link. • Flow control with conditions and sub-chains, plus variables like {url}, {title}, {selection}, {clipboard}, {date} and {time}. • 7 one-click templates (Focus, Tab cleanup, Video, Snapshot, Read aloud, Translate, Wrap-up), JSON export/import, single-chain sharing, and 18 interface languages. Free and open source (MIT). Settings are stored locally in your browser and it works on both Chrome and Edge.
