Overview

Reads your Yahoo Fantasy basketball league in your browser and sends it to HoopValuator. Your Yahoo login stays in your browser.

HoopValuator league reader brings your Yahoo Fantasy basketball league into your HoopValuator account. What's new in 0.6 - Roto standings: in a rotisserie league, the reader now also reads Yahoo's standings: each team's place, roto points, season totals and games played. HoopValuator shows them in Rankings beside its projected finish, and Ask HoopValuator can talk you through the race. Head-to-head leagues are unchanged. - Your lineup for each day ahead: Yahoo keeps a separate lineup for every day. The reader reads yours for today and the next six days, so lineup advice compares each day with the lineup you set for it. Yahoo does not give HoopValuator a way to read your league. Your browser can, because you are signed in to Yahoo. The reader asks Yahoo for your own league from your own browser and sends the result to HoopValuator, where it becomes the league your trade and roster advice is based on. How to use it 1. Sign in to Yahoo Fantasy and to HoopValuator in this browser. 2. Click the extension. It lists your Yahoo NBA leagues. 3. Press Read beside a league. This takes about 40 seconds for a 12-team league. 4. Press Send to HoopValuator. After that, HoopValuator keeps the league current. If your league is more than six hours old, opening HoopValuator refreshes it through the reader, with no popup needed. Sync now, in Settings and beside your league at the top of the page, refreshes it any time. A "Sync when I open HoopValuator" switch in the popup turns the automatic refresh off. You can still read and send it from the popup. What it reads Your Yahoo NBA leagues, and for the league you pick: its settings, teams, each team's roster, each week's matchups, your own lineup for the next seven days and, in a rotisserie league, the standings. Team names and manager nicknames are part of a league and are included. Manager email addresses are removed in the browser and never sent. What it does not do It never changes anything on Yahoo: no lineups, trades, waiver claims or league settings. It never sees or sends your Yahoo password or login cookies. It talks to two places only: Yahoo's fantasy data service and hoopvaluator.com. Only HoopValuator's own pages can ask it to refresh, and it reads one league at a time. It has no analytics and no advertising. You need a HoopValuator account to use it. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Yahoo. Yahoo and Yahoo Fantasy are trademarks of their owner.
