Overview

Stop the spacebar AI prompt in empty blocks. Hide Ask AI popups and upgrade banners. Full-width pages and typography.

Notion keeps putting AI in front of you. Press space in an empty block and the AI prompt opens. There is an Ask AI button in the corner, AI entries in menus, and a rotating cast of upgrade cards. Purify turns them off. WHAT IT DOES - Spacebar AI prompt — pressing space in an empty block no longer opens the AI prompt. This is the one most extensions cannot fix: it needs the keystroke to be cancelled before Notion's editor sees it, which a CSS or filter-list blocker cannot do. - Ask AI popups — the corner button, floating panels, and AI entries in menus and toolbars. - Upgrade and promo banners — plan prompts and the floating AI promo cards. - Aggressive matching (optional) — a broader net for when Notion ships a redesign and something slips through. It can occasionally hide the wrong thing, so it is off by default. - Full-width pages — drop the fixed content margin on every page, with an optional maximum width. - Typography — body text size and line height. - Custom rules and a selector picker — when Notion changes something and an element gets through, point at it and add your own rule. No waiting for an update. ONE THING TO KNOW With the spacebar setting on, a space typed into a completely empty block is swallowed rather than inserted. This is deliberate. Notion's editor is model-driven and discards a character inserted any other way, so the choice is between suppressing the prompt or typing a leading space in an empty block — not both. Every other block behaves normally, and markdown shortcuts like "- ", "# " and "1. " are unaffected. If you would rather have the space, turn the setting off. PRIVACY No analytics, no tracking, no network requests. Nothing leaves your browser. Your settings are stored locally in Chrome. The extension runs only on notion.so and app.notion.com. Nothing is deleted from your Notion pages. Elements are hidden with CSS and reappear the moment you switch a setting off or remove the extension. FREE Every feature is free. No account, no subscription, no trial.
