Your child starts a session when they sit down to work, and you get a clear, honest summary of how it went — no guessing, no micromanaging, no reading over their shoulder. How it works 1. A parent creates a Homework Time account and adds their child. 2. The parent gives their child a one-time install code to sign in to this extension. 3. When it's homework time, your child starts a session and gets to work. 4. When the session ends, you get a session report in your parent dashboard. What's in a session report - How long the session actually lasted, and how much of it was focused time - Tab switching and off-task browsing during the session - Optional camera-based checks for things like stepping away, looking away for long stretches, a phone in view, or someone else doing the work - A plain-English AI summary of the session, so you get the story, not a spreadsheet Built to be honest, not sneaky - Your child sees exactly when a session is running — nothing runs in the background without them knowing. - Monitoring only happens during a session your child starts. Close the session, and it stops. - Sessions are visible only to the parent who set up the account. - Parents provide consent for their child when creating the account, and can delete their family's data at any time. - To keep sessions honest even in private windows, the extension asks you to enable "Allow in Incognito" during setup. What we don't do - We don't monitor outside of homework sessions.
