HoldMyHand pairs your computer with your phone so it can guide you through a task one plain-language step at a time — "Click the 'New' button," "Type your project name here" — with the exact spot highlighted on a picture of your own screen. Built for anyone who gets stuck midway through an infrequent multi-step task (setting up a new account, connecting two services, publishing something for the first time) and wants a second pair of eyes without needing to ask someone else to sit down and do it for them. How it works: click "Start guiding me" in this extension, scan the QR code with your phone, and tell it what you're trying to do. It watches the page you're on, tells you the next single thing to do, and automatically moves on once you've done it — asking a clarifying question instead of guessing whenever it's genuinely unsure. HoldMyHand never clicks, types, or takes any action on your behalf — every action is yours. It only runs while you've deliberately started a session, on the one tab you started it on.
