Blur Faces is a private Chrome extension for blurring faces in photos before sharing them online. The extension opens a local face blur studio where you can load JPG, PNG, or WebP images from your device, detect faces automatically, adjust blur strength, correct missed faces with manual lasso selection, and export a clean PNG. It is built for quick privacy workflows: product screenshots, group photos, event pictures, community images, testimonials, support screenshots, launch assets, and public social posts. Blur Faces focuses on one job: helping you hide identifiable faces while keeping the rest of the image useful. Automatic face detection creates editable face masks. Select mode lets you toggle individual masks. Lasso mode lets you draw around missed faces when detection is not enough. Full-photo blur is also available as a secondary mode. The extension processes images locally in Chrome. It does not define an upload endpoint, does not require an account, and does not need broad website permissions.
