SnapTranslate lets you translate text that's in images, screenshots, and graphics without leaving the tab. How it works 1. Click the SnapTranslate icon and start a selection. 2. Drag a box around any text on the page. 3. SnapTranslate reads the text using on-device OCR and translates it with DeepL, showing the result in a small panel right next to your selection. Why SnapTranslate - Works on text you can't normally select: screenshots, embedded images, graphics, PDFs rendered in-browser, and more. - OCR runs entirely on your device, so the image never leaves your browser. - Choose which languages OCR should recognize and which language to translate into. - You only need to bring your own free or paid DeepL API key. Note: SnapTranslate requires a DeepL API key (a free tier is available directly from DeepL) to perform translations. OCR works locally without any key.
