Hallway is an AI browser sidekick that lives in a Chrome side panel. Open it, sign in, pick a character, and tell them what you want done. They browse the real web with you — clicking, searching, comparing, filling forms, and opening tabs — while you stay in control. Use Hallway for shopping, research, trip planning, inbox cleanup, social workflows, lead building, video discovery, support navigation, and other multi-site tasks. Talk by voice or type. Switch characters anytime. Tabs the assistant opens land in a Hallway tab group so their work stays separate from yours. Examples: - "Compare these two running shoes and help me pick." - "Scan my inbox unread emails and give me the highlights." - "Build a lead list in Sales Navigator." - "Draft a LinkedIn post based on what is trending in my feed." - "Find me something funny on YouTube." - "Help me recover my account and fill out the support form." Give feedback as they work: - "Something more casual." - "Try a different color." - "Exclude these companies." - "Show me the draft before posting." - "Confirm before submitting." Hallway is built around task-specific characters, not a generic chatbot over every page. Keep the side panel open and watch them work on the sites you already use. Developers can send tasks to the same agent from Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, or any MCP-compatible client. Open Settings → Developers to connect.
