Select text on any web page to clip it — the source link and timestamp come with it — then copy the whole thing out as clean Markdown or download it as a PDF. Think of the notepad you keep next to you while you work: you scribble on it as you go, use what you wrote, then wipe it and start the next thing. HodoClip is that pad, one keystroke away, on every page you visit. TWO WAYS TO CLIP TEXT Highlight text on any website and it lands in the pad. Or right-click your selection → Clip to HodoClip. Either way you get a quote block with a clickable source link, so you never have to save a URL by hand or hunt for where a quote came from. A MARKDOWN EDITOR WITH LIVE PREVIEW Write around your clips in plain Markdown. Headings, lists, checkboxes, code blocks, and quotes render as you type, and the line you're editing shows its raw source — the same live-preview editing model as Obsidian. What you see is exactly what you copy. No format conversion, ever. EXPORT TO MARKDOWN OR PDF One click copies the whole pad to your clipboard as clean Markdown, with a date and a deduplicated list of every source you clipped. Paste it straight into Obsidian, Notion, Apple Notes, Google Docs, Slack, or your editor. Or download a real PDF with selectable text and clickable links. Then hit Clear and start the next thing (Ctrl/⌘Z brings it back).
