Cassie is a free study buddy that lives in your browser. Highlight anything you're reading and she explains it right there, in plain words. What Cassie can do • Highlight and ask: select words on any page, then pick Explain, Answer, Code or Summarize. Her answer shows in a small card right beside the text. • Teach me: Cassie walks you through the page one step at a time. She points at the right part and draws on the page while she explains, and she can say it out loud. • Ask about this page: ask a question about the whole article, PDF or doc you have open. • Snip: drag a box around a graph, diagram or equation and ask about it. • Right-click menu: "Explain with Cassie", "Answer with Cassie" and "Explain this picture with Cassie". • Cassie's Island: drop a PDF, some words or a photo on her and she reads it. • Side panel: keep Cassie open next to what you're studying. • Works with the Cassie app: what you ask in the extension shows up as chats in Cassie at askcassie.study. Free, no key needed Install it and start asking. No account and no API key are needed. Private by design Cassie only reads a page when you ask her to: when you highlight text, snip, tap Teach me or Ask Cassie, or click her button. She doesn't track your browsing, and your data is never sold. Your recent questions, snips and lessons are saved on your own computer, and removing the extension clears them.
