Blur hard subtitles on YouTube videos for language immersion
Hide hard-coded (burned-in) subtitles on YouTube videos with a movable, resizable blur box. Built for language immersion learners. Features: Toggle blur overlay with Alt+B Drag to move, drag edges to resize -- position is saved automatically Review Mode (Alt+R) -- rewinds and replays with subs visible, then blurred to test your listening 1-pass or 2-pass review (2-pass also replays blurred to confirm listening) Auto Review Mode -- continuous mode that loops chunk by chunk OCR subtitle mining (Alt+M) -- extract text from hard subs for dictionary lookup Anki integration -- automatically attaches screenshot and sentence audio to new cards Adjustable blur strength, rewind duration, and more in settings The blur box works instantly with no setup.
