Lumora – Ambient Image Gallery
Overview
Turn any web page into a distraction-free photo gallery with an ambient glow that matches each image.
Lumora turns the images on any web page into a calm, full-screen gallery, with a soft ambient glow around each picture. Click the toolbar icon, press Alt+Shift+G, or right-click and choose "View images in Lumora gallery". Lumora gathers every image on the page, skips the tiny icons and avatars, and shows the photos one at a time on a dark, distraction-free backdrop. The glow around each image takes on that photo's colours, much like bias lighting behind a TV. ✦ AMBIENT GLOW Realistic: the glow picks up the colours of each photo Solid colour: one glow colour of your choice Four colours: a different colour on each side Off: just the gallery, no glow Adjust opacity, blur and spread to taste ✦ VIVID MODE Press V for richer colour and contrast, and set the strength yourself. ✦ BROWSE THE WAY YOU LIKE ← / → to go to the previous or next image, Home / End for the first and last Space to start or pause the slideshow, with your choice of time per image Thumbnail strip to jump straight to any picture Image counter (e.g. "4 / 27") so you always know where you are Esc to close ✦ FINDS THE IMAGES THAT MATTER Set a minimum image size to skip icons, logos and avatars Optionally include CSS background images, which many galleries and portfolios use Works on blogs, news sites, portfolios, product pages, forums and more ✦ QUICK ACTIONS Share the current image to Pinterest, Facebook or X Copy the image link Open the original image in a new tab Hide the share bar if you don't need it ✦ MAKE IT YOURS Live preview on the settings page, and you can test it on your own image Background colour and opacity Light or dark toolbar icon to suit your browser theme Settings page in light, dark or system theme Settings sync across your Chrome browsers ✦ PRIVATE BY DESIGN Lumora runs only when you open it. It has no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking, and it never sends your browsing data or images anywhere. Everything happens in your browser. Note: Chrome doesn't allow extensions on some built-in pages, such as chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store and the PDF viewer. On those pages Lumora shows a short notice. Questions or feedback?
