HayAILive
Overview
Live meeting interpreter: Vietnamese subtitles for Japanese and English speakers, and your Vietnamese spoken in Japanese or English.
HayAILive is a live meeting interpreter for teams that work across Vietnamese, Japanese and English. WHEN COLLEAGUES SPEAK • HayAILive listens to the meeting tab you start it on, recognizes Japanese or English automatically, and shows each sentence with its Vietnamese translation in Chrome's side panel. • In Google Meet™, the subtitles also appear over the call. • A first draft appears while the speaker is still talking and is corrected in place when the sentence ends. WHEN YOU SPEAK • Speak Vietnamese into your microphone. Each finished sentence is translated and spoken in Japanese or English. • In Google Meet, the translated voice is sent as your microphone, so colleagues hear the translation instead of your original voice. You see the text too, and can stop the speech at any time. • Voices are available in Japanese and English. Translations into Vietnamese are shown as text. BUILT FOR ENGINEERING MEETINGS • Keeps technical terms such as deploy, merge, staging and ticket numbers the way engineers say them. • Team glossary: add preferred translations in the side panel, or import them from CSV or JSON. • Optional meeting notes and the latest turns of the conversation give each translation context. • Any direction between Vietnamese, Japanese and English can be selected for subtitles. AFTER THE MEETING • Meetings tab: each session's transcript stays on your computer for 14 days; download it as text. • Record: one click records the original meeting audio, and your microphone if you choose. The file stays on your computer (download it as WebM) and is deleted after 14 days. Tell the other participants before you record. • Summaries in Vietnamese, Japanese or English: overview, key points, decisions (confirmed or only proposed), action items with an owner and deadline only when they were stated, and open questions. Written by Claude only when you click Summarize. • Speaker labels: when you choose the meeting's language, HayAILive tells voices apart as Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and so on, and summaries say who proposed, agreed to or took on what. You can name the speakers; names stay on your computer. SPEED In a 20-minute test with synthetic speech through our server in Tokyo, the median time from the end of a sentence to its translated subtitle was 1.9 seconds (95% within 2.8 seconds). Real meetings with accents, cross-talk or a weak connection will be slower and less accurate. PRIVACY • Nothing is captured until you agree to the data notice and press Start; capture ends when you press Stop. Recording starts only when you press Record. • Audio and text are sent over an encrypted connection to the HayAILive server in Tokyo, which uses Amazon Transcribe for speech recognition, Claude by Anthropic for translation and summaries, and Amazon Polly for the translated voice. • The HayAILive server does not store your audio, transcripts, translations or summaries. Meeting history and recordings are kept only in Chrome on your computer and deleted after 14 days. No ads and no analytics. • Privacy policy: https://live.hayaicall.com/privacy REQUIREMENTS • Chrome 116 or later. • A HayAILive license key (sent by email; enter it in Settings → License). HayAILive is in private beta: request access at https://live.hayaicall.com • Subtitles work for meetings that run in a Chrome tab. Speaking through HayAILive as your microphone works in Google Meet. KNOWN LIMITS • Speakers are told apart only when the meeting language is set (not Auto). The labels are automatic and can be wrong: one person can get two numbers, or two people one. They never identify who someone is. • Automatic language detection covers Japanese and English; choose Vietnamese by hand. • English words inside Vietnamese speech (for example "batch" or "service") are often misheard by speech recognition. The translation usually recovers them from context, but not always. • While translated speech is on in Meet, your original voice is muted for the session, so Meet's own recording and transcripts get the translation. HayAILive's recording keeps the original. HayAILive is a product of HayAITech. Google Meet is a trademark of Google LLC; HayAILive is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
