WriteProMax: rewrite any text, right where you type. Select text in almost any text box on the web, press one shortcut, and WriteProMax rewrites it in place. You don't need to copy text into a chatbot and paste the answer back. HOW IT WORKS 1. Select text in a text field: an email, a chat message, a comment, a form or a document. 2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space (Windows, Linux, ChromeOS) or ⌘+Shift+Space (Mac). 3. Your selection is replaced with an improved version. By default, WriteProMax fixes grammar, spelling and clarity. Your meaning, names, numbers and links stay as they are. TELL IT WHAT YOU WANT Add an instruction at the end of your selection, after a plus sign with a space on each side: hey can you send me the report tomorrow + make it professional thanks for the update, will check it later + make it friendlier we need to talk about the budget before friday + make it shorter The whole selection, instruction included, is replaced by the result. A plus sign inside ordinary text, such as "C++", is not treated as an instruction. WORKS WHERE YOU WRITE • Single-line inputs, text areas and rich-text editors • Editors inside frames and shadow DOM, which many webmail, CMS and support tools use • Most websites (Chrome doesn't allow extensions on chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store) YOUR TEXT IS NEVER LOST • Undo any rewrite with Ctrl+Z or ⌘+Z. • If a rewrite fails because of a network problem, a rate limit or a timeout, your original text stays exactly as it was. A short message tells you what happened. • If you keep typing over the selection while a rewrite is running, WriteProMax won't overwrite your edit. SETUP (ABOUT 2 MINUTES) WriteProMax uses Groq's fast AI models with your own free Groq API key. 1. After you install, the settings page opens. 2. Create a free key at console.groq.com/keys. 3. Paste the key and click "Save & test". The settings page and the toolbar popup walk you through each step. You can choose which Groq model to use. The list shows only the models your key can use, with the best for rewriting first. If a model becomes unavailable, WriteProMax switches to another one automatically. Groq's free plan has per-minute and per-day limits. If you reach one, wait a moment and try again. CHANGE THE SHORTCUT If another extension already uses Ctrl+Shift+Space, choose a different shortcut at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. The settings page has a button that takes you there. PRIVACY • There is no WriteProMax account and no WriteProMax server. The extension talks to Groq directly. • Text is sent only when you press the shortcut, and only the text you selected. It goes straight to Groq (api.groq.com) to be rewritten, and Groq's privacy policy applies to that request. • Your API key is stored only in this browser's local extension storage. It isn't synced, and websites can't read it. You can remove it from the settings page at any time. • No analytics, tracking or ads. WriteProMax doesn't collect, sell or share your data. WHY IT ASKS FOR ACCESS TO ALL WEBSITES WriteProMax has to run on the pages where you type so it can replace text in the field you're using. It does nothing on a page until you press the shortcut. Then it sends only the text you selected. GREAT FOR Emails, chat messages, social posts, support replies, comments, forms, and documents you write in the browser.
