PC Pocket

Shows your browser tabs on your phone through the PC Pocket app.

Use your PC's real browser from your phone: your open tabs, already signed in to your accounts, in a layout made for a phone. PC Pocket lets you control your Windows PC from your Android phone, with screens built for a phone instead of a shrunk-down desktop. This extension connects your browser to the PC Pocket app, so you can browse from the couch with the same tabs and accounts you use on your PC. WHAT YOU CAN DO • See every tab open in this browser and open any of them on your phone • Open new tabs, close tabs, and go back and forward • Tap, scroll and type on the page from your phone • Use the same sign-ins as your PC. No typing passwords on a tiny keyboard • Pages switch to a phone-sized layout while you watch them, and go back to normal when you stop • Each browser profile shows up on your phone by its email, so you can choose the right account PRIVATE BY DESIGN • The extension only talks to the PC Pocket app on this same computer (127.0.0.1). It never connects to the internet on its own • Your phone connects straight to your PC on your own Wi-Fi. There is no PC Pocket server in between • A phone can only connect with the pairing code shown on your PC's screen • Free, with no ads and no tracking. The source code is public on GitHub HOW TO SET IT UP 1. Install PC Pocket on your Windows PC and the PC Pocket app on your Android phone 2. Add this extension to Chrome, Edge or Brave 3. Scan the QR code on your PC with your phone, then open Browser Works with Chrome, Edge and Brave on Windows. While your phone is watching a tab, the browser shows a bar saying it is being debugged. This is how the extension displays the page in a phone layout. Close it on your phone, or click Cancel on the bar, and the tab goes back to normal.
