Shotlist — Find References

Finds ShotDeck references for your Shotlist project, with your own ShotDeck login.

Shotlist is a cinematographer's production planner. This extension finds reference stills on ShotDeck for the shots, scenes, characters and tone of your Shotlist project. Press Find References in Shotlist, choose what to search, and press Search. The extension opens ShotDeck in a background tab — signed in as you, with your own ShotDeck subscription — runs the searches Shotlist prepared, and sends the stills it finds to Shotlist, where your own Claude chooses the best one for each shot. It closes the tab when it is done. What it sends to Shotlist: the ids and small thumbnails of the stills your searches find, the full-size still of each reference chosen, and — when you search your decks — your deck names and the still ids in them. With your permission it also files each chosen still into one ShotDeck deck named after your project. Search from your phone too: press Search in Shotlist on your phone and the extension on your computer takes the search within half a minute, runs it in your ShotDeck there, and Shotlist shows its progress on your phone. For that it checks Shotlist every half minute, with your own Shotlist key, for searches you asked for. It runs only when you ask for a search, only on shotdeck.com and on Shotlist sites, and never reads passwords or cookies. You need a ShotDeck account and a Shotlist project. Your own Shotlist at another address: open it, click Shotlist under the puzzle-piece button in Chrome's toolbar and Allow. The extension checks that the site is a Shotlist, and from then on works there too.
