IMDB Search

Search IMDB, from any web page, for selected text. Go direct to the most likely entry. Optionally go to a section e.g. Episode List

Search IMDB by selecting text on any web page and either clicking the extension's icon or right clicking and searching from the menu. Please note: clicking the icon is not always reliable, depending on the design of the web page containing the text. To avoid opening lots of new tabs, if a tab is already open in IMDB, it will be used for the search. This can be changed by right clicking the icon and selecting the 'Create new tabs' option. IMDB will be directed to the first entry in it's list that matches the selected text. If this is not the required entry, pressing the back arrow will return to the list. The 'Go to....' menu option is available for going directly to a part of entry. Currently the only available options are to go to the Episode List or User Reviews page.
