Overview
Local chess analysis & training assistant on chess.com: computes and visualizes the best move using Stockfish (WASM).
Chess Helper is a lightweight analysis and training assistant designed to help you study positions, practice tactics, and improve your chess skills on Chess.com. Powered by a built-in Stockfish engine compiled to WebAssembly (WASM), the extension evaluates the board position directly inside your browser with zero external server dependency. Key Features: • Fast 100% Local Engine: Calculates optimal moves using a local Stockfish WebAssembly worker—no network latency, no external API outages, and completely self-contained. • Clear On-Board Visualization: Highlights the start and target squares with a clean directional arrow so you can immediately understand the tactical and positional ideas on the board. • Minimalist Monochrome UI: A sleek, draggable Black & White floating button and compact panel that stays out of your way while you study. • Training & Study Companion: Ideal for reviewing openings, solving puzzles, analyzing positions, and practicing against computer personalities. Privacy First: • 100% Offline Processing: All chess evaluations run locally on your device. No personal data, browsing history, or game data is ever collected or sent to any third-party server.
