Hitbox Weather

Hitbox Weather is a focused interaction-geometry survey for the page the user deliberately activates. Choose “Survey this page” to inspect visible links, buttons, form controls, summary elements, ARIA interaction roles, focusable elements, editable regions, and explicit click targets in the active tab. The survey measures real viewport rectangles. It marks targets with a very small short side or area, targets mostly clipped outside the viewport, and controls whose center point is occupied by another pointer-receiving element. It also checks a bounded set of fixed and sticky elements for large, nearly invisible layers that can intercept pointer input. Findings are shown directly over the page with distinct colors and a compact condition bar. The popup reports targets surveyed and counts for undersized, covered, clipped, and invisible-blocker findings. “Survey again” recomputes current geometry. “Clear overlay” removes the injected visual layer, and the overlay has its own close button. Running the survey again first removes the previous overlay, so findings do not accumulate. For stability, at most the first 1,000 matching interactive targets and 2,500 potential fixed or sticky blockers are examined; at most 180 annotations are drawn. The inspection is instantaneous and event-driven. It does not poll, observe future mutations, rebuild the host page, record browsing history, alter source styles, or save survey results. There is no account, storage, analytics, telemetry, advertising, remote code, persistent site access, content script registered for all sites, or extension-operated network request.
