Overview

Export browser history as CSV, JSON or HTML. Choose dates, columns and matching pages. Free, local and no account.

Export your browser history as CSV, JSON or readable HTML. Choose your dates, select your columns, and keep the matching pages in a useful local file. HistoryOut is free. No account, no subscription, and no uploads of your browsing history. THREE USEFUL FORMATS CSV: open and analyze your history in Excel, Google Sheets or another spreadsheet tool. JSON: use structured history records in your own scripts and workflows. HTML: keep a readable file with clickable links, ready to open locally in a browser. MAKE THE FILE YOURS Choose a preset or custom date range. Search page titles and URLs, filter by website, and select the columns that belong in your file. Optional fields include Domain and Timestamp. Keep every matching visit, or choose One row per URL for the latest matching visit to each page. Optional URL cleanup removes query strings and fragments. It does not anonymize your history; titles and URL paths can still contain personal information. PREVIEW, THEN DOWNLOAD Review your matching history before exporting. The preview shows up to 100 rows; your file includes every match from the loaded result. Export downloads directly to your device. FREE AND LOCAL HistoryOut reads available browser history when you choose Preview or export. The extension has no advertising, analytics or account requirement. It does not upload history to a server or delete your browser history. This update keeps the same three permissions: history, storage and sidePanel. USEFUL EXTRAS, INCLUDED A daily recap and recent trail help you revisit useful pages. Save a named view to reuse your date range, filters and export settings next time. Every feature stays free. Saved views remember settings on this device, not a permanent history archive. HistoryOut works with history available to your current browser profile. It cannot recover deleted history or guarantee access to older account history. Visit counts describe navigation events, not time spent or productivity. SUGGEST A FEATURE Have an idea for a better export or an easier workflow? Suggest a feature, add context to an existing request, or vote for an idea you would use: https://historyout.featurebase.app/ The feedback board is public and hosted by Featurebase. No browsing history or export settings are attached. Posting or commenting may require a separate Featurebase sign-in. For private help, contact sauliusthedev@gmail.com. OPTIONAL SUPPORT If HistoryOut saves you time, an optional contribution supports independent development. Every feature remains free whether you contribute or not: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/saulius.developer You can also use Tell a friend to copy the installation link and share it wherever you like. Features, examples, browser options and release notes: https://exportchromehistory.app/ WHAT’S NEW IN 2.1.0 New in 2.1.0: welcome and update pages now open inside HistoryOut. Both include an Open HistoryOut button, so you can start right away. If your browser cannot open a side panel, HistoryOut opens in a full tab. Added: share an idea or vote on suggestions through the new Suggest a feature links. You can find the same feedback board in HistoryOut, on the website and in the Store description. Your browsing history is never attached to these links. Fixed: matching visits are no longer missed if you reopen a page while HistoryOut is loading your history. Fixed: website visit counts now match the visits included by the website filter. Fixed: saved views keep your full search text, including long URLs, so reopening them returns the same matches. Fixed: date ranges saved in older versions now show their exact start and end times in your local time, so it is clear which visits will be exported. Fixed: your latest date range, file format and column choices are saved even if you close HistoryOut straight after changing them. Updated: contact links now use sauliusthedev@gmail.com. Kept: CSV, JSON and HTML export, your preferences and saved views, the familiar blue icon, a completely free extension, and the same permissions.
