History Signals turns browser history into a private, long-lived record you can search, review, and understand. Chrome normally keeps only a limited window of history. History Signals imports the records Chrome still has, then saves new visits automatically in a local archive on your device. Understand what keeps returning Insights help reconnect browsing fragments: subjects you repeatedly return to, lines of research that span different websites, and shifts in what you have been exploring. Every device can produce a limited deterministic local interpretation. On compatible Chrome devices, you can optionally enable Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano model for a richer, source-linked analysis. Gemini Nano is optional. Model preparation and analysis happen on the device. Page content is never supplied to the model. Private by design • Browsing records stay in local IndexedDB • No account, advertising, analytics, or developer-operated server • No collection of webpage content • No sale or sharing of browsing history • Source-linked insights you can check against your own records • Open-source implementation for auditable privacy boundaries Optional encrypted WebDAV copy Advanced users may configure an encrypted WebDAV copy. It is experimental and disabled by default. In-app restore and integrity verification are not yet available, so this feature should not be treated as complete disaster recovery.
