Tailor resumes and cover letters for job postings, then optionally fill application forms.

HirePilot helps you adapt a resume and cover letter to the job posting you are viewing. Open HirePilot on a job page, review the detected details, choose the documents you want, and start tailoring. The tailored resume becomes available for optional form filling while requested PDF, DOCX, and cover-letter files finish in the background. Features: - Tailor a resume to the active job posting. - Generate a resume PDF, resume DOCX, and cover-letter PDF in any combination. - Save generated documents directly to Downloads. - Optionally assist with visible application fields after the user presses Fill or Re-fill. - Customize guided resume and cover-letter preferences while retaining output validation. - Use user-configured hosted AI providers or a compatible local model. HirePilot is user-controlled. It accesses the active tab only after the user invokes the extension or one of its actions. It does not read passwords, payment fields, authentication codes, government identifier fields, or file uploads. Users should review all generated text and filled fields before submitting an application. The Chrome extension requires the free HirePilot Windows companion, which runs locally at 127.0.0.1. The companion installer and setup guide are available from the official HirePilot Releases repository. Users provide their own supported AI-provider API key or configure a local compatible model. Provider availability, free quotas, and pricing are controlled by each provider. When a hosted AI provider is configured, the companion sends the relevant resume/profile and job-posting text directly to that user-selected provider for the requested tailoring, cover-letter, or field-matching operation. HirePilot has no developer-operated collection server. Users who configure a compatible local model can keep model processing on their own computer. Autofill is a beta convenience feature. Resume tailoring and cover-letter generation are HirePilot's primary features.
