Most blockers are a light switch. hippofocused is a sunset. Feeds fade towards grey as the evening comes on, close when the night starts, and the video you are already watching is allowed to finish — nothing new starts after that. Nothing is ever yanked away mid-sentence. hippofocused also gives you an allowance for the sites you never close on your own: twenty minutes of a feed, say, then a few hours away from it. The last five minutes count down on screen first, so the end never arrives as a surprise. Stay off the site for the whole cooldown and the allowance quietly refills. hippofocused runs against your own hippofocused server, so your schedule follows you across every device you own and a limit spent on your laptop is already spent on your phone.
