Inline help icons next to Salesforce fields — articles, votes, and comments served from your own Salesforce org.

Hint puts your company's own help content exactly where people get stuck: next to the Salesforce field they are looking at. A small blue ? icon appears beside any field your administrator has mapped to a help article. One click opens a popup with the article, right there on the record page. No searching, no tab-switching, no separate knowledge base to remember. On record pages with page-level guidance, a Record Guide pill appears in the bottom-right corner instead. REQUIRES THE HINT SALESFORCE PACKAGE This extension is one half of the product. It does not work on its own. Your Salesforce administrator must install the free Hint unlocked package into your org first. That package holds everything: the help articles, the field-to-article mappings, the votes, the comments and the usage analytics. The extension is only the reader — it displays what your org already owns. If the package is not installed, or your administrator has not published any mappings yet, the extension will simply show no icons. All content stays inside your own Salesforce org. Nothing is hosted by us, and no article text, vote or comment ever passes through a third-party server. It requests no access to any other website. - It reads your existing Salesforce session so it can call your own org's API as you. The session token is held in memory for the length of the request and is never stored, logged or sent anywhere except back to the Salesforce org that issued it. - Usage analytics record object and field API names only — never the values in your records. - Article HTML is sanitized with DOMPurify before it is displayed. GETTING STARTED 1. Ask your Salesforce administrator to install the Hint package and assign you the Hint Reader permission set. 2. Install this extension. 3.
