Tailor your resume to the job you're looking at, without copying and pasting between tabs. CareerDiary reads the job posting on the page, shows how well it fits your experience, and opens the CareerDiary resume tailor with the job already filled in. On application forms it fills in your details from your profile and drafts answers to written questions from your own work history. WHAT IT DOES • Match score: see how well a posting fits your profile before you spend time on it. • Tailor my resume for this job: one click opens the CareerDiary tailor with the posting already in it. • Autofill: fills your name, email, phone and profile links from your CareerDiary profile. You review everything, and it never submits an application for you. • Draft from your diary: drafts an answer to an application question from the accomplishments in your career diary, and shows which entries it used. • Attach your tailored resume: attaches the resume you tailored for that job to the form's upload field, or downloads it for you to pick when a site's uploader needs you to choose the file. • Track applications: save jobs as you browse. When you submit an application on a supported site, it is marked as applied in your CareerDiary tracker, and you can undo it. • In the side panel: a cover letter and a keyword check for the job you are viewing. WHERE IT WORKS • Job postings: LinkedIn, Indeed, Greenhouse, Lever and Workday. • Application forms: Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. • Match scores on search results: LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and ZipRecruiter. It runs only on job sites, and on another page only when you open it there yourself with its keyboard shortcut. WHAT IT NEEDS A free CareerDiary account. Sign in with the same account you use at careerdiary.io. AI features use CareerDiary credits: free accounts get a set number, and Pro includes more. YOUR DATA When you are signed in, the extension sends job details to your CareerDiary account so it can score, save, tailor and track them. Once you choose "Got it" in its data notice, it also counts a few usage events (installed, opened, job detected, tailor started) with the job site's name only, never page text or web addresses.
