A free, open-source content blocker. Blocks ads, trackers and popups, with nothing sent anywhere. Every page in its final shape. What it blocks • Ads, banners and trackers, with about 130,000 rules from ten community filter lists • Ads on YouTube, including before and during videos • Ad breaks in films and shows on Prime Video and Netflix • Popups and popunders from known ad networks • The empty boxes ads leave behind • Site fixes from the filter lists for about 4,000 sites From the toolbar you can pause winnower on the site you're on, switch filter lists on and off, or turn it off everywhere. The Cookie banners and Annoyances lists start switched off, because they are the most likely to break a site. Ads stitched into the video stream itself on other streaming services are not blocked. Private by design winnower has no server, no account and no analytics. The filter lists ship inside the extension, and it sends nothing about you anywhere.
