Highlite – Draw on any website, annotate web pages, highlight & screenshot

Overview
Web page marker & drawing tool: pen, arrows, shapes, sticky notes, highlighter. Annotate any webpage + screenshot. No sign-up.
Highlite turns any webpage into a canvas. Draw, highlight, add notes and arrows directly on the live page, then capture it as an annotated screenshot and share it in one click. Whether you're giving design feedback, reporting a bug or studying an article, your annotations stay right where they belong, and they're still there when you come back to the page. ✏️ Annotate Anything - Freehand Pen: Draw directly on the page. - Arrows & Shapes: Point at what matters with arrows, rectangles and ellipses (hold Shift for straight lines, squares and circles). - Text Highlighter: Highlight text in 8 colors or any custom color. Highlights stay attached to the text when you reload. - Sticky Notes & Text Boxes: Write comments, reminders or to-dos anywhere on the page. - Laser Pointer: Point at things during a screen share or demo. The trail fades on its own. - Edit & Clean Up: Select any annotation to move it, resize it or change its color and size. Use the eraser, undo/redo (Ctrl/Cmd+Z), or clear the page in one go (and undo that too). 📸 Capture & Share - Three capture modes: visible area, full scrollable page, or a region you drag to select. - Download as PNG or copy to the clipboard, ready to paste into a message, a ticket or a doc. - Pro: Send screenshots straight to a Slack channel, a Discord channel or forum, or your own webhook. - Pro: Export a page's annotations as a JSON file. Importing one back is free. ⚡ Fast to Use - Keyboard shortcuts for every tool (press ? to see them all), Esc to go back to selecting. - Autosave: annotations are saved per page and come back on your next visit. - No account needed to annotate and capture. Works in 18 languages. 🚀 How It Works 1. Open any webpage and click the Highlite icon. 2. Pick a tool and annotate the live page. 3. Click Export: download, copy, or send your annotated screenshot. 🔒 Privacy - Your annotations are stored locally in your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers. - Screenshots stay on your device unless you choose to send them to Slack, Discord or a webhook. In that case they go directly to that service. - Sign-in (Google) is optional and only used for the Pro plan. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, plus your subscription status. Nothing about the pages you visit. - We collect anonymous usage statistics (for example "a screenshot was taken") to improve Highlite. These never include page addresses, page content or what you write. 🔍 Why These Permissions? - Read and change data on websites: needed to draw and highlight on the page you're viewing. Highlite only reads the page to place your annotations. - Downloads: to save your screenshot as a PNG. - Storage: to remember your settings and saved annotations. - Identity: for the optional Google sign-in. - Slack: to send screenshots to Slack when you use that option. 💬 Support & Feedback Found a bug or have an idea? Email contact@get-highlite.app or visit get-highlite.app. Highlite is actively developed and your feedback shapes what comes next. Click "Add to Chrome" and start annotating.
