HIGHLIGHT THE TRUTH Websites are no longer the only voice on their own pages. Highlight lets you attach notes, sources, and context to the exact passage where they matter. Keep what you learn encrypted in your wallet, or publish useful context so other readers can see more than the page alone. HOW TO USE IT 1. Select a passage or claim on any page. 2. Right-click and choose “Add Highlight note.” 3. Write your note and optionally add a source. 4. Keep it private or publish it. Highlight re-anchors the passage when you return. Simply selecting text never opens a popup. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR NOTES Private notes are encrypted and controlled by your compatible wallet. Use them to remember insights, save research, or build a personal annotation layer across the web. SEE WHAT OTHERS THINK Public notes create a shared annotation layer for the web. People can attach sources and useful context to a passage instead of leaving the website as the only voice on its own page. Reading public context needs no account. Publishing is always an explicit choice. YOUR HIGHLIGHTS, YOUR CONTROL Choose which authors to trust, hide, or mute. Quiet mode reduces page markers, and Public-off mode hides them. You can edit or remove notes you control. A compatible BRC-100 wallet is required to save private notes or publish, reply, vote, edit, or delete. Reading public notes is free and does not require a wallet. Highlight has no ads or extension analytics. Public notes may be copied by others, so never publish confidential information. Existing tabs may need one refresh after installation or an update.
