Highlight to Flashcard

Overview

Select text anywhere, right-click, and turn it into a flashcard you can review later.

Stop re-reading. Start remembering. Highlight to Flashcard turns any selected text — on any webpage, PDF, or article — into a ready-to-review flashcard in seconds. No typing, no manual note-taking, no switching apps. How it works Highlight any text you want to remember Right-click → "Make flashcard from selection" An AI-generated question and answer is created and saved automatically Review your deck anytime from the extension icon Built for actually remembering, not just collecting Cards use a proven spaced repetition system (Leitner boxes). Get a card right, and it comes back further apart. Get it wrong, and it resets so you see it again soon. No cramming — just steady, low-effort review. Made for readers, students, and anyone learning from the web Perfect for lecture notes, textbook PDFs, research papers, documentation, or any dense reading where you want the key points to actually stick. Privacy-first by design Your flashcards are stored locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server. You bring your own Anthropic API key, so your data and usage stay entirely under your control. Free and open — no account, no subscription, no ads.
