Give your cursor a life of its own. ClickCritter adds a lightweight game layer to normal browsing. Pick an original cursor style, add an optional trail or click effect, and earn XP naturally as you move and click around the web. ### Features - Four original cursor skins: Neon Pointer, Pixel Saber, Pocket Rocket, and Blob Buddy. - Small, Medium, and Large cursor sizes. - Dot Trail and Energy Sparks trail effects, plus Off. - Ripple and Impact Burst click effects, plus Off. - Daily and lifetime click statistics. - Approximate cursor travel distance in feet and miles. - XP based only on tracked left clicks and approximate cursor movement. - 25 progressively harder levels in V1. - 15 persistent achievements. - Master on/off switch that restores the normal cursor and pauses tracking. - Reduced-motion support. - No account, AI, API, analytics, or backend required. - Core functionality works offline after installation. ### Privacy by design ClickCritter processes mouse clicks and approximate cursor movement only to provide its user-facing cursor effects, statistics, XP, levels, and achievements. Those values and your settings are stored locally in Chrome using `chrome.storage.local` and are not transmitted to the developer or any third party. ClickCritter does not collect or store browsing history, URLs, page titles, page contents, typed text, form values, passwords, cookies, or account information. It contains no analytics or advertising services. The extension needs access to ordinary webpages so it can display the selected cursor/effects and locally count pointer activity while you browse. Chrome-protected pages such as `chrome://` pages and the Chrome Web Store do not allow ordinary content scripts, and ClickCritter handles those pages gracefully. Distance is a fun approximation based on CSS pixels and is not a scientific physical-distance measurement.
