Hide the YouTube Comments Section

just what I needed

Thanks to this at least I dont see these iritating and misleading "President Daniel J Piedra" fake news comments on Hall of Presidents videos. This is the only thing that saves YouTube from cancer.

Working fine in December 2023 after the youtube updates on their user interface. It does the job.

I usually iffy about these kinds of extensions, but so far no issues and I found the overview to be relatable. 90 percent of the time, the comment sections is a cesspool of toxicity. The 10 percent just isn't worth it. Thank you for this extension.

the other problem why comments section should be disabled is pretty high browser and PC load. for instance, if you've been surfing through the comments and then trying go to fullscreen mode to watch a video on the currect page, you will see this process will take a lot of time for some reason, you need to wait about 3-5 seconds and only after that you get in fullscreen mode, the same problem to leave it - you must wait the same time. it means youtube site nowadays is pretty unoptimised and th...
