Hide for YouTube
Overview
Hide the YouTube feed, Shorts, suggestions, comments and more. Eight toggles, no network, no tracking.
YouTube, minus the parts you didn't ask for. Eight toggles. Turn off the homepage feed, Shorts, suggested videos, comments — whatever pulls you away from the video you came to watch. Everything else stays: the player, search, your subscriptions. WHAT YOU CAN HIDE - Homepage feed — the endless grid - Shorts — the tab, the shelves, and Shorts in search results - Suggestions — the related videos sidebar - Comments - Videos at end — the end screen wall and pause overlay - Subscriptions bar - Playlists - Live chat The first five are on by default. The last three are off until you want them. HOW IT WORKS A stylesheet is applied before the page paints, so hidden elements never appear. No flash of a feed you asked to remove, no scripts fighting YouTube's own code, no slowdown. PRIVACY No network requests. No analytics. No accounts. No servers. Your toggles are saved with Chrome's own sync storage, so they follow your profile across devices. They never reach us — there's nothing to reach. The extension asks for two things: permission to save your settings, and permission to run on youtube.com. That's it. Made by Alex Ghit — hide.hey5.studio
