Hide Browser Fingerprint
Overview
Protects your privacy by spoofing browser fingerprinting vectors and blocking WebRTC IP leaks.
Privacy Shield is a lightweight, high-performance browser extension that blocks advanced fingerprinting scripts and stops WebRTC IP leaks. Most privacy tools just disable scripts, which often breaks the sites you're trying to use. Privacy Shield takes a different approach: it dynamically overrides key browser properties so every site sees the same generic, uniform device profile. That poisons the tracking signature at the source, making it far harder for sites to identify or follow your device. Key Features Complete user-agent masking — Presents a standard Windows Chrome identity, spoofed both in the page's JavaScript environment and in outbound HTTP headers, including modern User-Agent Client Hints. Canvas & WebGL fingerprint protection — Injects subtle, imperceptible noise into canvas and WebGL readbacks, changing the hash signature of your rendering engine with no visible glitches. Audio signature anonymization — Adds microscopic offsets to the audio context output buffer to disrupt audio-hardware tracing. WebRTC IP leak prevention — Forces WebRTC connections through proxies or default public interfaces, keeping your real location hidden even behind a VPN. System hardware masking — Reports standard values for screen resolution, CPU core count (4), device memory (8GB), GPU details, and locale/language. Timezone anonymization — Overrides local date functions and formatters to report UTC across the board, preventing geographic profiling. How to Use It Click the Privacy Shield icon in your browser toolbar to open the control panel. Toggle the main switch to turn the shield on or off. Refresh any open tabs to apply your new spoofed signature. Use the diagnostic checklist in the panel to see which parameters are active. Privacy Guarantee Privacy Shield collects zero data. It runs entirely on your device, with no third-party analytics, no browsing history tracking, and nothing ever transmitted off your machine. All settings are stored locally using Chrome's storage API.
