Energy Bureau Tools Add-on

Private engineering companion for Energy Bureau Site Tools, including TDB generation and Controller Categoriser.

Energy Bureau Tools Add-on is a companion extension for Energy Bureau Site Tools. It provides additional engineering functionality used from the Energy Bureau Site Tools interface on authorised Resource Data Management systems. The add-on currently provides two specialist engineering tools: • EHR TDB Creator — reads the relevant M&S ActiveFM System Check and RDM controller information required to generate EHR TDB configuration files. • Controller Categoriser — discovers and analyses controllers on the currently connected RDM site to support controller classification and engineering review. The add-on is designed to work alongside Energy Bureau Site Tools and is not intended to provide a separate standalone workflow. Engineering functions are initiated by the user from the Energy Bureau Site Tools interface. To perform these functions, the add-on can read relevant site, controller and configuration information from supported Resource Data Management pages under resourcedm.com. It uses the user's existing authenticated RDM/ActiveFM browser session when retrieving this information. Data is processed locally within the browser and exchanged with the installed Energy Bureau Site Tools extension to provide the requested engineering functionality. The add-on does not operate an Energy Bureau cloud service, does not transmit engineering data to a developer-operated analytics server, does not contain advertising and does not use information for profiling or marketing. All executable extension code and TDB programme resources are packaged with the extension. Remotely hosted JavaScript or WebAssembly is not downloaded or executed. Energy Bureau Tools Add-on is intended only for authorised engineering users who already have permission to access the supported Resource Data Management systems.
