The king cobra is the largest venomous snake in the world. The cobra is different from other snakes for many reasons. They have a hood that they use as a sign of aggression along with a hiss to intimidate enemies, and they have more control over their upper body movement. Remember Steve Irwin? He would pick a snake up by the tail and it would dangle helpless? I bet you never saw him try that with a cobra. Check out the attached youtube video where he tries to catch an Egyptian cobra.
