Find web pages you've read by what you remember about them. Local semantic search; your data never leaves your device.

Remember reading something good but can't recall the title, the site, or the exact words? Describe what you remember, and RAGdoll Recall finds the page. HOW IT WORKS • Pages you actually read are remembered: a page counts once you've spent about a minute reading it (you can change this). Tabs left open in the background don't count. • Bookmark a page while reading it, and it's remembered right away, even a short post. • Search by meaning, not just keywords: "that article about getting better sleep" finds the page even if those words aren't in it. • Works in many languages: the on-device model understands over 100 languages, and a query in one language can find pages written in another, such as English and Chinese. English and Chinese are the most thoroughly tested. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything runs on your computer. The AI model ships inside the extension, so RAGdoll Recall makes no network requests at all: no accounts, no cloud, no tracking. • Your pages, text and search history stay in your browser and are never uploaded. • Doesn't run in incognito windows. Email, chat and payment sites are excluded by default, and you can exclude any site you like. • See everything that was remembered in "My memories", and delete pages one by one or in bulk. You can also pause recording or clear all data. THREE WAYS TO SEARCH • Click the toolbar icon to open the search page. • Press Alt+Shift+R. • Type "rd" and a space in the address bar, then what you remember. GOOD TO KNOW • Text only for now: video and audio sites and Google are skipped by default. • Bookmarks made before installing are not imported. RAGdoll Recall remembers what you read from now on. • Local HTML files can be remembered too: turn it on in Settings and allow file access on the extension's details page. • The download is large (about 350 MB) because the AI model is included. In exchange, search works offline from the first minute. PERMISSIONS • Read and change site data (asked for only when you turn on reading memory): to measure reading time and save the article text, on your device. • Bookmarks: to remember a page the moment you bookmark it. • Storage: to keep your remembered pages and their search index locally. RAGdoll Recall is in beta and free while in beta. Feedback is very welcome.
