Overview

Enhances the visual layout, navigation, and usability of YouTube and YouTube Music.

Tired of wrestling with YouTube's defaults? Qommandr of YouTube gives you granular control over how YouTube and YouTube Music look and behave. Every enhancement is a separate toggle. Turn on only what you want. Everything else stays out of the way. FEED & LAYOUT • Set video grid columns on Home and Subscriptions — 8, 12, 20, or any count from 1 to 20 • Show more (or all) lines of video and Shorts titles on Home and Subscriptions cards • Customize the Shorts shelf on Home — columns per row, merge multiple shelves into one • Customize the Shorts shelf on Subscriptions — columns per row, expand by default, optionally hide the expand button • Hide Shorts, Live streams, and Mixes — per page or everywhere at once • Hide sponsored cards, masthead ads, and companion ads beside the player • Hide algorithmic clutter: "Most relevant" shelves, surveys, feed nudges, and more • Fix section order when using a custom column count so feeds don't look broken • Jump to the top or bottom of any feed with one click; scroll-to-bottom loads more content PLAYER • Set your preferred max quality — Auto, 720p, 1080p, 4K, up to 8K — on every watch and Shorts video • Optionally remember quality picks from YouTube’s player settings menu • See how long a video actually takes at 1.25×, 1.5×, 1.75×, and 2× before you press play • Remember your preferred playback speed across every video and session • Glance at current speed and time remaining without opening the settings panel • Keep a progress bar, elapsed time, and remaining time visible when controls autohide • Pop video into Picture-in-Picture with one click, or auto-activate PiP when you switch tabs • Hide live chat for a full-width player on live streams • Skip pre-roll and mid-roll video ads inside the player (refresh the tab after enabling) PLAYLISTS • Search playlists by name in the Save dialog — no more scrolling through hundreds of rows • Sort your playlists by video length, title, or channel using YouTube's own API • Click a playlist thumbnail to open the playlist page instead of autoplaying the first video • Always see video position numbers, even when drag handles are visible • Cap playlist sidebar width so it doesn't stretch across your screen NAVIGATION • Hide sidebar sections or individual links you never use — Shorts, Gaming, History, and more • Keep Explore and Your Library expanded by default • Unify sidebar link styles and strip separators and section titles for a cleaner look YOUTUBE MUSIC • Widen home carousels to fill your screen • Open the track you're listening to on YouTube in one click — Music pauses automatically • Picture-in-Picture for music videos • Same scroll-to-top and scroll-to-bottom shortcuts as on YouTube • Search playlists by name in the Save to playlist dialog • Filter playlists in the left sidebar; Enter opens, plays, or opens and plays the first match • Stop the mini-player bar from opening the player page by accident — only the expand button toggles it PRIVACY & TRUST • Runs only on youtube.com and music.youtube.com — nowhere else • Works on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox Open the extension popup from your toolbar, pick the features you want, and browse as usual.
