Overview
Save your own ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini conversations as Markdown or JSON. Everything stays in this browser.
Hexloom Chat Archive saves the conversation open in your tab as clean Markdown or JSON, with the title, date, roles and code blocks kept and YAML frontmatter that Obsidian understands. Free - Export the open chat as Markdown or JSON - Works on chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com Pro ($29/year or $4/month, bought on hexloomlabs.com/chat-archive/) - Bulk archive your chat history (switched off on claude.ai) - Auto-save Markdown into a vault folder you pick (Obsidian or any folder) - Search your saved chats locally Privacy The extension sends nothing anywhere: no analytics, no remote code, no server of ours that it talks to. Saved chats live in your browser's IndexedDB and in the folder you choose. Your Pro licence key is checked offline. Honest limits - Not yet verified on logged-in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini sessions; tested against recorded page layouts. Pro has a 14-day full refund by email. - Site layout changes can break export until we ship a fix. - Bulk archive opens your chats one by one in your own session and may breach a service's terms. Use it at your own risk. - Images are linked, not embedded. No attachments or PDF export. Not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google. The extension code and this listing were written with AI assistance (Claude, by Anthropic) working for Hexloom Labs.
