Overview
Henry watches your tabs — pauses background videos and sleeps idle tabs to save energy.📌 Pin to toolbar for best experience.
Henry watches your tabs so you don't have to. Every time you leave a tab with a video playing in the background, Henry catches it instantly and asks if you want to pause it. Every time a tab sits idle for too long, Henry flags it for sleeping. The result: less wasted energy, less RAM consumed, and a browser that actually respects your machine. What Henry does: Detects background videos the moment you switch away and offers to pause them immediately Flags idle tabs and lets you sleep or close them in one click Auto-pauses videos and auto-sleeps tabs when you've been away (optional) Saves energy in a way Chrome's built-in Memory Saver never does, Chrome doesn't touch videos, Henry catches them every time Why it matters: Background tabs running videos or heavy JS consume real electricity. Henry frees that energy the moment you stop watching, not when Chrome decides RAM is low. All savings stay local: no data ever leaves your device. Earn points as you save: Henry gamifies your impact with a points system, daily streaks, and 8 unlockable animal companions: from Henry the domestic cat at level 1 to Gold Henry at the top. The more energy you save, the further you progress. Henry respects your privacy: No data collection. No analytics. No servers. Your points, your stats, your settings, all live on your device via Chrome's local storage. Henry has no backend. Tips: 📌 Pin Henry to your toolbar so you see the badge count whenever tabs need attention. The badge turns red when Henry's auto-sleep feature kicks in — that's your signal to check back in.
