Helm — AI Trading Coach

A read-only coach beside your TradingView chart — observes the tab you attach, coaches your discipline, and can never trade.

Helm is a trading COACH, not a trading tool. It watches the one TradingView chart tab you deliberately share and coaches your discipline in real time — a small status widget on the chart, and a full coach in Chrome's side panel. WHAT IT DOES • Observe — click the Helm toolbar icon on your chart tab and Helm samples still frames of that tab on a calm cadence, reads the chart (trend, levels, structure), and journals every read onto your session timeline. • Guard — your session vitals and rule room (daily loss, trade count) stay in view in the side panel while you trade, beside the rules you set for yourself. • Declare intent — tell the coach "I'm looking for a trade" and it watches more closely; a 30-minute scanning timeout nudges you back to patience. • Ask the coach — "what do you see?", "here's my thesis", "debrief my last move". Grounded answers from your session's own reads, rules, and stats. • Debrief the trade — mark when you're in. When you close, Helm compiles the hold into one honest review of how you managed it, written to your journal. • Real or practice — decide at the door. A REAL session fills your stats and your prop-firm gates; a PRACTICE session never touches them. WHAT IT NEVER DOES • It never trades. Helm has no order path, no broker connection, and answers are guarded against directional "buy/sell" language. The human always decides. • It never touches the page. Nothing is injected into TradingView beyond Helm's own status widget, which renders in an isolated container, reads nothing from the page, and never simulates clicks or keystrokes. • It never captures without your gesture. Observation starts only when YOU click the Helm toolbar icon on a chart tab; Chrome shows its capture indicator the whole time, and the widget's switch stops it instantly. • It never watches an empty chair. After 10 minutes with no keyboard or mouse activity anywhere, observation stops itself — one click brings it back. HOW YOUR DATA MOVES Frames of your attached chart tab are uploaded to Helm's servers (api.gethelmcoach.com), analyzed by an AI vision model, and written to your private session journal. Frames are retained per your Helm retention setting. Nothing else on your screen — other tabs, other apps — is ever captured. Sign-in is borrowed from your gethelmcoach.com session; the extension never sees your password and stores no long-lived credential.
