Helios Inverter Sync

Sync inverter data from your portal into your Helios dashboard.

Helios Inverter Sync automatically fetches your solar energy production data from your inverter manufacturer's web portal and uploads it to your Helios PV Dashboard — no Python scripts, no cron jobs, no stored passwords. HOW IT WORKS The extension uses your existing browser session (the cookies already set when you're logged into your portal) to call your portal's own data API directly and upload the results to your Helios account. Your portal credentials are never read or stored by the extension, and nothing is ever downloaded to your computer. Once configured, syncs run automatically every 24 hours in the background. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time from the popup. SUPPORTED PORTALS - Aurora Vision - Fronius Solar.web - SolarEdge (MySolarEdge monitoring) More inverter brands will be added in future updates. REQUIREMENTS - A Helios PV Dashboard account (paid tier) at https://www.pvhelios.com - An active session in your inverter portal in the same browser profile SETUP 1. Open the popup and sign in with your Helios email and password 2. Select your inverter portal and choose your Helios system from the dropdown 3. Enter your portal identifier: - Aurora Vision: Entity ID (Plants → Management → click your inverter → Entity ID field — not the Plant ID shown in the URL) - Fronius Solar.web: pvSystemId (auto-detected on first sync, or paste it from the Solar.web URL) - SolarEdge: Site ID and Device ID (found in the Layout view of your site) 4. Make sure you are logged into your portal in the same browser profile 5. Click Sync now — or wait for the daily auto-sync SYNC BEHAVIOUR - Manual sync: click Sync now in the popup at any time - Daily auto-sync: fires automatically every 24 hours via the browser's alarm system - On browser start: syncs once if the daily sync hasn't run yet today - Date range: syncs all missing dates from your last upload up to yesterday PRIVACY The extension only reads daily energy production data from your portal's own API.
