It is useful for shell scripts, Python automation, workflow tooling, browser productivity, testing, research, and local developer automation. Features include: • Manage tabs, windows, and tab groups • Open, focus, reload, sort, pin, mute, move, and close tabs • Extract text, links, images, HTML, Markdown, JSON, and metadata • Interact with pages: click, type, scroll, wait for elements, query the DOM • Save and restore browser sessions • Use from both CLI and Python SDK • Works with Chromium-based browsers like Chrome, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, and Chromium This extension is the browser-side component of browser-cli. The companion Python package and native messaging host are required.
